Bell 206 "Jet Ranger"

This 206 is crafted of fossilized walrus ivory and is about five inches long. Made for a good friend.

A workhorse of the North Slope of Alaska, oil fields, construction sites, movies, and fire fighting, the "Jet Ranger" is one of the most common and best helicopters ever made. In Viet-Nam, the 206 was called the "Kiowa". I is powered by a single Detroit-Diesel Allison 250. It was in competition as a scout helicopter by the U.S. Army with the Hughes 500 "Loach".
